1. Log into the Central Telecoms PBX Portal via the link provided to you & log in using your own credentials.
2. Navigate to DIDs, then click on the phone number you want to update the schedule for.
3. Click Show Advanced Options. Some additional fields will then be shown.
4. Click Operation Times – This will open a menu where you can configure your custom dates and holiday schedules.
5. Here, you’ll want to look for the ‘Closed Dates’ section, close to the top of the page.
A few tips before getting started here.
- You can add as many custom dates & they can be as far in the future as you would like.
- It is advised to remove these once the date has passed, however you can choose to keep them if you would prefer to edit them the following year, rather than creating them from scratch again.
6. To add a new closed date, click the + icon which is highlighted in the image below. This will add a blank row for you to configure
7. Then, fill out the fields as required.
a. Description: This field is optional, however it is recommended to add a description to help identify what each closed date is for.
b. Destination: This field has 3 options, depending on what you would like the system to do on the specified date.
i. 997 = Holiday Message (Note: This message can be updated by dialling *304997)
ii. 998 = Divert all calls.
iii. 999 = Custom Message (Note: This message can be updated by dialling *304999)
c. Date From/Date To: These fields specify when the custom schedule should start & end. If it’s only for a single day (such as a public holiday) then both fields will be the same date.
d. Time From/Time To: These fields specify the times the custom schedule needs to be active. The easiest way to think of this is; if the schedule needs to be set for the whole day, it will be 00:00-23:59. Otherwise you would specify the time, e.g. in the example provided below, Christmas Eve, the custom message will start at 1pm until Midnight.
8. Below is a few examples of how you can configure different custom dates for different purposes.
9. Once you have finished adding your custom schedules, make sure to click SAVE at the bottom of the page, to make sure your changes are applied.
